Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work with a core Central Government Mitie client to assist in managing a remote site based cleaning team, including management and development of staff, monitoring delivery to ensure excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.
You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, deliver Toolbox Talks, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials, order stocks and any other tasks as required. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication and IT skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
