Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Tower Hamlets are seeking a clinician to work in our socially and culturally diverse borough. We want the very best services for our children and young people. That’s why we are looking for someone like you.
This post is based in one of our multidisciplinary Emotional and Behavioural Teams. We aim to deliver timely and comprehensive assessment and treatment service, offering goal-based episodes of care to children and young people and families. Alongside individual case work there are a range of groups such as DBT, NVR parenting and Behaviour Management for parents of children with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties. There are opportunities to have consultations from colleagues to support casework (such as Trauma, Psychotherapy consultations). We also have well established People Participation groups for parents and young people. The service embraces continual improvement and the staff and management team have a high degree of enthusiasm for quality improvement.
Tower Hamlets CAMHS is a busy, innovative and vibrant service with good relationship with our partner agencies in Social Care, Education and 3rdsector. Our main clinic is in Whitechapel, with a second clinic in Limehouse, both of which have excellent transport links. Clinicians work in a hybrid model of direct face to face and remote working as appropriate.
