Nursing Home Deputy Manager

50/50 split clinical & supernumerary- 37.5 hours p/w
Purosearch are looking for an exceptional Deputy Manager to join a fantastic luxury Nursing home located in the North of Ediburgh.
The medium sized Nursing home, rated 3's & 4's with CI is owned by a leading Scottish provider with a fantastic reputation across Scotland. & a long term manager.
The home caters for the elderly & those with dementia & is a resident focused home.
Skills and Experience for the role of Deputy Manager:
• You will already hold current registration with the NMC and have a relevant nursing qualification (RGN, RMN).
• Experience in a Deputy Manager position within a Nursing Home environment.
• Exceptional people mgmt. & communication skills & a passion for care
The role of Deputy Manager:
• You will be involved in continuous assessments to plan and evaluate the needs of the residents, at the same time as coaching your team members and role modelling best practice.
• Your day will be varied, including; recruitment, ensuring safe staffing levels, making sure your Home meets legislative and regulatory requirements and undertaking ongoing care assessments.
• You will work a mix of clinical & supernumerary shifts- 50/50. Hours of work are 2 clinical days 0730 - 2000 and 2 office days 0830/9 - 16.30/1700
