Summary
Helpston Playhouse is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ setting, offering places for Pre-School age children. We also run a busy Breakfast and Out of School Club in our award winning, environmentally friendly building.
We are looking for a new member to join our experienced team as a Pre-School Practitioner, working alongside our Playhouse Team in the Preschool, Breakfast Club and the Out of School Club. Our setting is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
We are within easy reach of Stamford, Peterborough, and the Deepings. We are ideally located on the Delaine bus route between Stamford and Peterborough.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner to work within our team to further the success of our setting provision. The successful candidate will help to plan, lead, and organize a varied and rich curriculum that delivers the EYFS ensuring all learners are challenged, motivated and engaged. The candidate will be highly professional and demonstrate excellent levels of communication with all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
• To produce a fun and educational environment
• Follow the EYFS framework
• Maintain health and safety requirements
• Ensure the wellbeing of the children is maintained at all times
• Excellent planning & record keeping
Key skills/ requirements:
• Minimum Level 2 / Level 3 qualified in Early Years
• Able to work with a fun and supportive team
• Excellent communicator
• Experienced Practitioner
Expected Hours:
• Contracted 36 hours per week
• Flexibility is a must for this role as cover will be required, sometimes at very short notice to cover staff sickness, emergencies and training courses in our Breakfast Club, Preschool and/or Out of school club
