Summary

The International Student Advice Team (ISAT), based is Student Support Services are recruiting for an International Student Adviser, to provide specialist immigration advice to applicants and students in line with the Office of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC level 2), and in accordance with the terms of the University’s Sponsor License.

Fixed term one year full time post to cover maternity leave.

You should have:
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification or substantial relevant work experience in a post with similar, general support/advice duties.
- Familiarity with Higher Education, and an understanding of, and experience in, the provision of information, advice and guidance services.
- Knowledge of immigration rules relating to students.
- An interest in working with students from different cultures.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, and will be dependent on the candidate meeting criteria to rely on tradeable points.
