Summary

Community Care Worker (FT or PT)

BWA Health & Care Services are a domiciliary care company that provides personal care, domestic, practical and emotional support to enable Service Users to live comfortably in their own homes.

Our dedicated team of Community Care Workers strive to support Service Users to achieve this goal and we are now recruiting 10 caring & diligent individuals to join our team.

What You Need To know:

Contract: Full Time & Part times roles available
Shift Times: Mornings: 7am – 3:00pm, Afternoons: 3:00pm – 9:00pm

What The Role Entails:

Each Service Users' needs will vary according to their care plan, but typical you can expect to:

-Deliver personalised care and support in accordance with their individual care plans.
-Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
-Provide companionship and emotional support.
-Support with shopping, appointments & leisure activities
-Be reliable and foster a sense of connection and well-being by ensuring continuity of care.
-Promote independence and empowerment by encouraging participation in decision-making and activities of daily living.
-Maintain accurate care logs by monitoring and reporting changes in health and welfare.
-Any other requirements of the job directed to domiciliary care

What We Need from You:

-Reliable & consistent
-Compassionate and empathetic nature
-Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with Service Users, families, and colleagues.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Flexible & adaptable according to needs of Service Users & their home environment
-Full Driving licence and access to a car as part of the job requirements.
-No previous experience needed as full training provided and ongoing support.
