Description
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter (Fire Safety Work) (L3Z1) to join our team. As a Carpenter specializing in fire safety work, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings by installing and maintaining fire safety equipment and systems. Your expertise in carpentry and fire safety will play a crucial role in safeguarding lives and properties.
Responsibilities
Install and repair fire safety equipment, including fire doors, fire-resistant partitions, and fire dampers.
Inspect buildings to identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate safety measures.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate fire safety work during construction or renovation projects.
Work with blueprints and technical drawings to accurately install fire safety systems.
Conduct regular maintenance and testing of fire safety equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire safety systems.
Provide training to building occupants on fire safety procedures and the use of fire extinguishers.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on fire safety work.
Good knowledge of fire safety regulations and codes.
Sound understanding of carpentry techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
Certification in fire safety or related field is preferred.

Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:30
