Purchase Order Manager (L3Z1)
Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Order Manager to join our team. As the Purchase Order Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, ensuring all purchase orders are accurately processed and delivered on time. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will collaborate with various internal departments, suppliers, and vendors to manage the purchase order workflow. Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, from creation to delivery, ensuring all orders meet quality and quantity requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and inventory teams, to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on product availability and lead times.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable contract terms and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
Review purchase requisitions and specifications, ensuring they align with company policies and budgetary constraints.
Monitor inventory levels and track order statuses to proactively address any potential supply chain disruptions.
Implement and maintain purchase order tracking systems and tools to streamline the ordering process and improve efficiency.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Prior experience as a Purchase Order Manager or in a similar role within the supply chain function.
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Proficient in using purchase order management systems and tools.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and vendors.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
