A well-renowned, independent veterinary practice are currently looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team in Horsham. The practice has a long history of providing the highest quality of care to the local area.
The surgery offers a complete range of amenities to provide the highest standard of care with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment including K-Laser while a new CT Scanner and 24 hour separate night service will be available shortly.
There is a high orthopaedic case load and medicine cert holder on site. A great position for someone with or wanting to do a certificate.
The practice caters for a whole range of animal care, from domestic cats and dogs to exotic pets such as snakes and spiders.
The practice is located and beautiful town in West Sussex, known for its charming and picturesque qualities.
The surrounding countryside is picturesque and offers ample opportunities for outdoor activities, such as walking, hiking, and cycling. The South Downs National Park is nearby, providing stunning landscapes and wildlife.
The town centre is a bustling hub of activity, featuring a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, and markets. You can find both well-known brands and unique local businesses, making it a great place for shopping and dining.
Good Transport Links: Located just 30 miles south of London, they benefit from excellent transport connections. The town has its own train station with direct services to London, making it a convenient option for commuters and it is just a 25 minute drive to Gatwick airport.
The Role:
• 5 vet team
• Only 1:4 Saturdays
• 3 or 4 days per week
• No OOH
The Candidate:
The practice is happy to consider Vets with varying levels of experience as there is plenty of support if required however, this would suit a more experienced Vet with an interest in surgery.
The practice offers an excellent salary and package:
• Excellent salary up to £80,000 DOE
• Accommodation or accommodation allowance/relocation allowance
• Certificate support or £2,000 CPD plus 5 days study
• No OOH - this all covered by our independent and separate night teams
