Veterinary Surgeon - Surrey

Here at Purovets, we have a wonderful opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to work at an independent, well-established family run practice in a large village in Surrey. With its wide variety of shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants as well as excellent schools and transport links, this is a widely sought after part of the country.
This family-run group has practices across the county, all of which are fully-equipped with state-of-the-art including an In-house laboratory, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Endoscope and much more.
As well as all this you are also able to use the additional features at their specialist 24 hour flagship referral hospital which boasts a top of the range ultrasound machine and access to specialists in Cardiology and Diagnostic imaging.
The role will be a mixture of consulting and operating and you will be given the support you need to develop and grow. Our client works hard to ensure that your work-life balance and well-being is their priority, and this is reflected in the support given throughout your career.
You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to enhance the client bond with a warm and thorough explanation of any diagnosis or procedure. You will be able to work alongside a specialist team at the 24 hour Veterinary Hospital to ensure patients have access to gold standard healthcare without the need to travel for external referral.
The Rota:
• Full time role
• 4 day week
• 1:3 Saturdays
• No OOH, bank holidays or Sundays
The Benefits:
• Fantastic salary - up to £80,000 for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon/Certificate Holder
• Holidays increase each year worked, starting at 5.6 weeks a year for vets and reaching 7.6 weeks
•£4000 CPD allowance certificates funded and supported. Allowance can be used for personal and professional development
