Summary
Are you a nanny who loves to look after babies?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a four-day live out nanny position in Northend, Buckinghamshire. The role could also be a three-day role if that is more suitable. The salary would be adjusted for this.
You will be working with a friendly and professional family, taking care their daughter, who is aged three months. She has had a maternity nurse and is a content and happy bottle-fed baby. She is in a great routine, which they would like to continue. The family live in a beautiful home, with a large garden with lots of outdoor space. They have two friendly pug dogs, so a pet lover is essential.
Although the parents work from home, this will be a sole charge role. The family like to spend time outdoors, skiing and sunshine holidays and long dog walks. They are looking for a happy and active nanny who would like to become part of their family.
The hours will be 08.00-18.00 on four days each week, to be mutually agreed. There is also the possibility of ad hoc additional hours for babysitting and overnight stays if the parents need to go away. These hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime. There would also be the possibility of travelling on holiday with the family.
The parents are keen for their daughter to learn and play in a balanced way, helping her to reach her developmental milestones. She enjoys indoor activities such as reading stories, singing songs and playing games. The parents would also be happy for you to take her to fun and educational activities and groups, such as soft play, music group and story time at the library, as well as trips to the park and meeting up with friends to help her to socialise.
As well as general care of the baby, the role will include nursery duties (taking care of her laundry, ensuring her bedroom and playroom are organised and tidy, keeping the kitchen tidy, etc). You will also be responsible for preparing her bottles and, as she grows, provide her with healthy and nutritious meals, homemade as often as possible. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential.
The family also has a weekly housekeeper.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence. There will be a car provided for use on duty.
