Summary

Are you an enthusiastic and energetic nanny who enjoys caring for boys?

A fantastic full-time nanny position is now available in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. You’ll be responsible for looking after four charming little boys, aged nine, seven, three, and two. The two eldest attend full-time school, while the three-year-old goes to nursery two mornings a week. The boys adore spending time outdoors, kicking a ball around and playing at the park.

The role will entail a combination of sole charge and shared care, so an organised and adaptable nanny willing to assist in maintaining a smooth-running household would be ideal.

The working hours will be:

Term time – 35 hours (33 weeks)
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 09.00-19.00
Wednesday, 14.00-19.00
Friday off

School holidays – 50 hours (19 weeks)
Monday – Friday, 09.00-19.00

Your salary will be split evenly across the year. Any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

While having a driver’s license is beneficial, it’s not mandatory, as Mum will handle school runs. If you do have a car for activities, any mileage incurred during your duties will be reimbursed.

The parents are passionate about their children having fun while learning, aiming to meet their various developmental milestones. This involves a mixture of engaging and educational indoor activities such as reading stories, jigsaw puzzles, arts and crafts, imaginative play, baking, and more, along with ample outdoor play in the garden. You’ll also have the freedom to take the children to the park, music and playgroups, library for story-time, and to meet their friends to help them to socialise, all while ensuring their safety and happiness.

In addition to keeping the areas the children use organised and tidy (kitchen, children’s bedrooms, children’s bathroom, playroom, etc.), your responsibilities will include helping with the children’s laundry. Providing some assistance in maintaining the overall tidiness of the house, such as emptying the dishwasher, is also appreciated, although the family has a weekly cleaner.

With menu guidance from Mum, you’ll be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, with an emphasis on home-cooked as often as possible.

There’s also the opportunity for travel with the family during holidays.

If you have a genuine passion for children and would relish the opportunity to be part of this lively and friendly family, this could be the perfect role for you.
