Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driver The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for a 7.5T/Class 2 drivers to load and deliver materials to our various sites throughout Scotland.
You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you.
This role is Ongoing or if your just looking for an odd weekend shift, Depots are based in the Glasgow Area and is a 5 over 7 day role with working hours 7am/11am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min)
Basic duties will include: Loading materials onto vehicle Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery General upkeep of vehicle. This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness. Requirements: 7.5T / Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with some experience Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card Documented work history References Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English RATES OF PAY: Monday to Friday £13.50 per hour + £20.25 O/T after 8hrs Saturday £20.25 per hour Sunday & B/Hol £27.00 per hour Class 2 rates - Mon-Fri - £14.75 std - £22.12 after 8hrs / Sat £22.12 / Sun £29.50 The successful applicants will benefit from the below: Ongoing position for the right candidate Full time hours Excellent Rate of Pay For an immediate interview and start, call our driving team on 0141 353 3522
