Key Responsibilities



- Helping steer the Agile Release Train (ART) by working with the Product Managers and Release Train Engineer’s (RTE’s) to provide the necessary guidance to the train.
- Working Proactively with the Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment between both the ART and the organisation’s technology landscape and target state architecture.
- Ensuring system design evolves whilst considering both the practical reality of implementation and architectural intent.
- Interacting and collaborating with the system team, alongside shared services. The goal of this is to establish optimal architectures and processes for system testing and integration.
- Providing critical insights, keeping a close connection to the technological and implementation capabilities of the Train in question.
- Defining Nonfunctional Requirements whilst ensuring that Enterprise Architecture will support these NFRs.
- Participate In Solution Definition – Provide critical insights, keeping a close connection to the technological and implementation capabilities of the Train in question.
- Develop end to end solution designs to meet the needs of our engineering workforce, customers and asset management teams.
- Align Architectural Intent with Implementation – Ensure Alignment of expectations expressed in the architectural vision and the reality of the team’s skills, capacity, skills and more, as relevant.





Skills and Experience



-
Relevant qualifications and certifications for System Architecture or Solution Architecture.

-
Relevant Agile training and certification.

-
Demonstrable experience of defining and maintaining an end to end solution design that covers processes, data, security, people and technology. Working with enterprise architecture, business stakeholders and development teams to ensure the right design is in place, is understood, evolved and followed to deliver high quality business outcomes that adhere to IT standards and strategies.

Agile delivery experience preferably following Scaled Agile Framework.

Proven experience of designing, implementing and extending enterprise grade COTS solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable experience in Customer Relationship Management, Field Service Management, Asset Management and Geographic Information Systems.
