Summary
Fawkes And Reece are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor working on a £20m new build education project in Scarborough.
You will be working on a brand new 2 storey L-shaped school building, as well as being responsible for the redevelopment of the existing school, including reconfigured landscaping and increased vehicle parking. The new school building will help to tackle climate change through minimising energy demand and using low carbon and renewable energy solutions.

About The Role
Contributing to project commercial strategies and taking ownership for their own subcontract packages
Demonstrating understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up
Maximising project cash/value by effective management of subcontract
Working with the Commercial Manager to agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts
Contributing to relevant project procurement strategies with particular reference to issuing tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders
