Our client is a secondary academy in Rotherham, rated"good" in all areas by Ofsted. The setting is open andwelcoming to all, with an environment conducive to successful learning. Thestaff have clear intent to develop the curriculum and enhance their studentslearning through a variety of teaching techniques, with results which speak forthemselves. Student support is of the highest priority, enabling pupils toconcentrate on their learning, maximise their potential and achieve theiraspirations.
The setting requires a teacher of Art and Design to cover staffabsence on a full time basis. You will be responsible for delivering lessons tostudents aged 11-16, supported by an art technician. You will benefit frompurpose built facilities, and a range of supplies to enhance the pupilslearning. The core of your role will be creating enthusiasm for your subjectand foster high student creativity to ensure they are fulfilling theirpotential. You will be expected to supervise lessons to ensure that learnersinteract in a supportive and respectful manner.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will be enthusiastic about theopportunity to join a thriving academy setting, and be willing to contribute toits continued success. You will hold a DBS on the update service, or be willingto apply for one with immediate effect. For this role we are only able toconsider qualified teachers or unqualified teachers with at least three yearsexperience of delivering the subject at secondary level. NQT/ECT are encouragedto apply as there is opportunity for this role to extend for the rightcandidate. You will be;
