A rapidly growing, family-run SME business in Huddersfield is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to drive continued growth and efficiencies.
Your new role
As the Financial Controller, you will take lead of the day-to-day financial operations for the business, collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, focus on continuous improvements and implementing controls. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly management accounts
- Cashflow, forecasting, budgets
- Cost variance analysis / stock analysis
- Supporting auditors at year-end
- Tax preparations & VAT returns
- Strategic financial planning
- Project work
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to being a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), you will have previous experience working within manufacturing, be happy commuting to Huddersfield on a daily basis and ideally be confident with Sage 50. You will be analytically minded, an excellent communicator and strong P&L & costings experience.
What you'll get in return
The role is offering a competitive salary £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience with 23 days plus statutory, bonus and flexible working hours. This role is 5 days in office per week and 42.5 hours.
