Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise business provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress in work.

We are recruiting a Job Coach to manage, develop and support a caseload of customers, providing encouragement, training, brokerage, and co-ordination of activities including development planning, effective monitoring and guidance that will ensure progression to sustained employment.

As Job Coach you will build strong, collaborative working relationship with customers, tailoring the support to their needs, motivating, coaching and challenging them to fulfil their potential and enabling them to secure sustainable employment.


What you’ll need to do the role
You will need to be able to demonstrate ability and experience of coaching and influencing through previous work and have an emphatic nature with a genuine passion to make a difference to customers. Experience of working in a performance driven environment is important. The successful applicant must also have knowledge of local job markets and the recruitment sector.

Salary from £26,000 to £29,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
