Graphic Design Lead
Hybrid – Attached to London/Hook/Solihull with UK Travel

Here at Serco, we are seeking a creative Graphic Design Lead who will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling content and campaign assets that will engage target audiences and help to drive our ambitious growth objectives.

As our Graphic Design Lead, you will have exceptional graphic design skills, plus experience in video creation and/or animation editing. You will be comfortable collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, from various department and levels of seniority, as well as external customers. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, positive, customer-focused, and innovative, and able to advise on the best design solutions to meet business goals while staying true to our brand’s guidelines.

As part of this you’ll:

- Content Creation: Develop industry-leading marketing campaigns with engaging graphics and videos that bring the Serco brand to life and meet marketing objectives.
- Design for Multiple Channels: Design and optimise assets for various platforms, including websites, social media, emails, and presentations, ensuring they are visually appealing and accessible.
- Film Production and Editing: Produce and edit videos using Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams software (After Effects/Premier), utilising effective filming angles and lighting techniques.
- Brand Guardianship: Act as the brand guardian for Serco UK&E, coordinating with Serco Group to ensure consistency in brand development and support marketing communications.
- Translate Complex Concepts: Use your understanding of B2B/B2G marketing principles to turn complex technical concepts into easily digestible and visually appealing graphics.
- Coordinate Executive Design: Lead the design of literature, presentations, and videos for the UK&E chief executive, ensuring high-quality work that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Budget Management and Supplier Coordination: Manage costs and budgets for marketing projects and campaigns and liaise with external suppliers as required for successful project execution.


What you’ll need to do the role:

- Proficiency in Design Tools: Extensive knowledge and experience with industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with awareness of emerging design tools.
- Graphic Design: Demonstrable experience as a graphic design in a B2B/B2G environment, either at an agency or in-house.
- Video Editing Skills: Ideally, you will have proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premier Pro, training will be provided if not already familiar with this software. Experience in creating animation would also be an advantage.
- Effective Stakeholder Management: Experience working with complex customer and stakeholder relationships, with the ability to influence and communicate effective across all levels.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively interpret and respond to project briefs.
- MS Office Skills: Competent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
