Summary

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant SENDCo to join our team. Your Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Assistant SENDCo to play a key role in supporting the SENDCO to maintain the SEND Provision. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated and nurturing team, ensuring robust record keeping for actions undertaken for students with SEND. The successful candidate will also support the process of information gathering for SEND and EHCP annual reviews whilst arranging EP referrals, SALT assessments and liaising with Surrey SALT for visits to students.What we are looking for:Good General Education including English and Maths at Grade C GCSE or equivalentNVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalentExperience of teaching groups/ whole classesExperience of supporting teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4Be a pro-active member of the team with a can-do approachBe flexible and committed
Be passionate about the students' learning and welfare
Have excellent communication skills, which enables you to support within your team appropriately
Be keen to be part of the wider school community

Salary: Specialist Point 14 £28,089 - Point 16 £28,604 Actual: £20,137.33 - £20,506.54
