Summary
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teacher/Tutor/Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of SEN and EBSA students?SummaryWe are looking for a Part-time Teaching Assistant in St. Austell, Cornwall to support a non-verbal year six learner that has ASD. This will be support the tutor who will be teaching them communications using PECS symbols and supporting them regulate his emaotions re-engaging him as he has not been in school for three months. The TA would act as a social mentor to help the learner gain some independence by going on walks ect. The tuition will be held in an educational setting. This support will be ongoing until an SEN school placement has been found and would need help re-integrating them back into a school setting. Subject: Part-time SEN TALocation: St Austell, CornwallSchedule: 5-10 hours per week (Timings are flexible)
