Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced Senior Support Worker. A key part of the role will be supervising a small team of Learning Support Assistants to ensure learners social and physical needs are met, enabling them to safely engage in learning. You will be taking a lead role in the support for learners with special educational needs and access, health, personal care, and mobility needs.
Reporting to the Supported Learning Senior Curriculum Manager the core purpose of this role is to demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging environment ensuring support and paperwork is in place for the learners.
It is essential that candidates have a good standard of education in English, Maths and IT. Experience and qualified in, or willing to complete training in Level 2 qualifications relevant to learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
