Summary

Heathermount School is looking for someone to join our friendly, professional, and dedicated team.The ideal candidate would have: ● An organised, proactive and flexible approach with the ability to manage own workload. ● The ability to work well under pressure in a busy office environment. ● The confidence to work independently, as well as part of a team. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● IT literate proficient users of Word, Excel and google packages. ● Good typing skills with the ability to take minutes. Heathermount is a day school, owned by Cavendish Education, set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in Ascot, Berkshire.We provide a high-quality education for students aged 5-18 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. All our students have an Educational Health & Care Plan. We are a well-resourced school with small classes (max 8) with students supported by a team of educational and therapeutic staff who work in unison to achieve the best outcome for our learners. We are a forward looking and ambitious school with a passion for making a difference to the lives and education of our young people and our hard working, talented staff.Duties will include: ● Coordinating the organisation of annual reviews for students with EHCPs. ● Manage all aspects of the Annual Review process, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. ● Take detailed minutes at Annual Review meetings involving parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders. ● Distribute meeting minutes and relevant information as appropriate. ● To co-ordinate the administration of annual reviews by collating information, liaising with staff and outside agencies, taking minutes at meetings, and circulating information as appropriate. ● Maintaining filing systems, records and spreadsheets as required. ● Administration of medication and first aid to students. ● Supporting the front office with parent communication ● Maintaining student records. ● Any other general admin duties which are consistent with the role and level of responsibility.
