Summary

AXA prides itself on having an in-house claims investigations team (ACIT), historically made up of Claims Inspectors (Casualty-Commercial) and Field Investigators (Motor-Retail). Due to a changing landscape a new role of Claims Investigator has been created. This enables the Unit to be more resilient and enhance the customer service we provide.
You'll be responsible for investigating Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Motor Personal Injury Claims and any other investigations adopted by ACIT, such as home and commercial property validation.
This role is location independent and will be flexible covering London and South-East. You’ll be fully home-based spending half your time visiting customers, and half at home to plan investigations and write reports. There is no requirement to work from an office apart from the occasional team meeting.
Working Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days. There may be some unsociable hours but as you'll arrange your own appointments, you're empowered to do what it takes to meet customer expectations whilst maintaining your own work-life balance.
What you’ll be doing:

Investigate Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Motor Personal Injury Claims primarily on behalf of AXA Commercial Insurance, but also for other parts of AXA.
As Claims Investigator you will split your time between site visits/travel to customers and working from your desk at home with limited operational support.
Representing AXA in face-to-face dealings with our policyholders and brokers is a key part of the job, providing technically accurate and helpful advice to create a positive image of the company.
On conclusion of all investigations a comprehensive final report to be compiled and submitted.
Fully utilise expertise of handling casualty and motor claims as well as having the ability to work with own initiative displaying excellent time management skills.
The role is full time and flexible - some unsocial hours may be required on occasion to ensure the needs of our customers are met.
Open to being involved in internal projects and initiative with the opportunity to lead on internal change programmes.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
