Position Type: Temporary, Flexible Hours
Pay Rate: From £85.00 per day
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to classroom teachers by assisting with the delivery of lessons and activities
• Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional academic support as needed
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities
Requirements:
• Relevant experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting (experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms and with students of varying ages and abilities
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
