In this role will be carrying out mainly installations and, when required, service & repair duties. This will involve Landlord’s Gas Safety Checks, the installation, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of gas central heating boilers and associated heating systems. Although you will be predominantly working on natural gas appliances, qualifications in LPG, OIL or Air source heating would be beneficial (training can be provided). The role will cover Lichfield and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will hold the following:

  • CCN1: ACS Gas Safe - Core Gas Safety Certificate or Equivalent
  • CENWAT: Domestic Gas Fired Central Heating / Hot Water Boiler & Circulators, 70KW and Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances
  • CKR1: ACS Gas Safe - Cookers and Hobs
  • HTR1: ACS Gas Safe - Gas Fires
  • Unvented Systems, advantageous but not essential
  • OFTEC and Air Source/ Ground Source, would be beneficial. If not held, be prepared to train to obtain qualifications
  • Full, clean driving licence.

You will be provided with the associated battery powered tools to complete your tasks and be provided with a Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser. You’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence, willing to work 40 hours per week and be prepared to join an on-call rota.

    Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will be completed for the successful applicant.
