Job Description: In this role, you will start as a Telephonist and have the opportunity to advance to a Controller role with a higher pay rate after training. The job involves various tasks aimed at ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
Telephonist Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their inquiries
Greet and assist customers in person at the office
Manage bookings, enter them into the computer system, and coordinate with drivers
Handle general inquiries from customers via phone and email
Organize cover for busy periods and manage driver documents
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and paperwork
Controller Responsibilities (After Training):
Analyze pre-booked jobs and allocate them to appropriate drivers
Plan and organize driver schedules to honor customer bookings
Exercise problem-solving skills and effective organization to optimize operations
Maintain a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Polite, confident, and customer-focused attitude
Experience in telesales, administration, logistics, or reception roles is beneficial
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of calls
Preferred flexibility in working days, evenings, weekends, and covering holidays/sickness
Computer literate with reasonable spelling ability
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
