About the role

We are excited to be expanding our Independent Living Team to improve the services that we provide to our customers. As part of that expansion, we have a new, part-time opportunity for a Housing Assistant to work 30 hours per week at our Extra Care Service in Nantwich, Cheshire.

You will be part of a dedicated team where you will work with the Extra Care Scheme Manager to provide a high-quality housing management service, which ensures the delivery of safe and secure service provision. You will work to ensure our housing management services exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance for repairs, tenancy management and rent
  • Complete routine health and safety inspections
  • Engage and communicate effectively with residents
  • Respond positively and timely to resident's complaints, handing on to specialist teams where appropriate
  • Ensure all incident reports are completed as required

What we're looking for

We're a customer-focussed organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only be an experienced customer service professional, but you'll also be a great team player and have a basic understanding of health and safety requirements.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working with customers and acting on their feedback to deliver great customer service
  • The ability to work together and communicate well with others
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A good level of IT skills and knowledge
  • Good administration skills

Essential qualifications - Educated to a level one (GCSE or equivalent) or higher.
