Summary

Job Description

What is the role?

To ensure the wellbeing of residents/tenants by supervising, maintaining and developing the standards of care and practice of Social Care Workers and to participate in direct care activities. This will include providing extended personal care.

The post holder will also be required to assist the Unit Team Leader in the development of innovative and integrative services for residents.

The Grade of these posts are Grade 2 / Level 7; the hourly rate is from £16.61 to £18.03 and the annual salary is from £32,045 - £34,785.

The work pattern for this post will be: Week 1 - 4 days , Week 2 - 5 days inclusive of weekend week 3 - 4 days week 4 - 5 days inclusive of weekend.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with protected children and adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
