Summary
Moness Resort is a popular holiday destination located in the small market town of Aberfeldy in rural Perthshire. Situated amidst stunning Highland scenery, the resort offers a range of accommodations, including well equipped family friendly self-catering cottages and hotel rooms, making it a popular destination for couples, families,’ and groups. Providing a relaxing retreat where guests can unwind amongst breathtaking surroundings while enjoying a wide range of amenities and activities.
The resort is set in thirty-five spacious acres of ground. With the surrounding area providing ample opportunity for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, golf and fishing. Within the main house there are leisure facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub and a gym offering a wide variety of equipment. A dedicated Spa with a relaxing range of treatments, from manicures to full body massages, using the latest products PURE, ESPA and OPI.
On-site restaurants and bars and an outdoor terrace offer a variety of experiences from modern and informal family friendly dining through to more intimate and formal (without being stuffy); all offering a delicious choice of tasty local dishes. An extremely popular destination for weddings and gatherings, we tailor events that will suit a special occasion or celebration. In whichever way our guests wish to relax and unwind at Moness there is a tremendous amount on offer to choose from, to pretty much do it as you please; most importantly have fun.

Our Night Porter at Moness Resort plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests throughout the overnight hours. A responsible role encompassing a range of duties from providing assistance to guests while maintaining the overall security of the premises. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a positive guest experience and the smooth operation of the resort during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities
The Night Porter essentially manages the operation and provides a warm, friendly, professional, and efficient service to all our guests. You have a natural ability to work well within a team and can stay composed under pressure ensuring our high standards are maintained.
If you are a ‘Night Owl’ then this could be the role for you….
Welcoming guests arriving late at night, you provide them with the same level of service received during the daytime operation. Showing them the facilities, services and arranging for wake-up calls and any transportation arrangements to their cottage.
Conducting regular patrols of public areas and the exterior grounds and cottages by monitoring the resort to ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property. Responding to any security incidents or disturbances, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
Ensuring a good handover is in place for the morning team. Communicating effectively with colleagues within the other departments throughout the resort. Coordinating guest services and requests ensuring a seamless operation. Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all the cottages and bedrooms throughout the resort are maintained to the highest standards.
