Summary

As a Locality Manager, you will:

- Ensure the delivery of personalised support that aligns with the unique needs, desires, and aspirations of the individuals we support, through regularly reviewed and implemented person-centered care plans and health action plans.

- Safeguard the health and wellbeing of those we support, adhering to CQC Guidelines and Discovery's policies.

- Conduct effective risk assessments and emergency plans to maintain the safety of individuals.

- Ensure your team is well-trained and motivated to provide high-quality support.

- Ensure compliance with organisational, statutory requirements, and CQC Guidelines, along with maintaining standards, policies, and procedures.

- Handle complaints in accordance with established policies.

- Manage the budget and finances for the locality, contributing to organisational growth.

- Foster local connections and partnerships to facilitate the involvement and engagement of the individuals we support within their community.

Qualifications and qualities we're looking for:

- A robust background in working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

- Current knowledge of the personalisation agenda and Active Support model.

- Completion of, or eagerness to undertake, Management Development training.

- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on mentoring and motivating your team to deliver person-centered support.

- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Customer-focused mindset, attentive to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders, from the individuals we support to your team and other organizational members.
