Summary
WHAT YOULL DO: The job will include reporting benign and oncological head and neck imaging studies (CT & MRI staging investigations, cochlear implant imaging, sinus imaging maxillofacial imaging, sialography) including inpatient /emergency work. The successful candidate must be proficient at neck ultrasound and US guided FNA and core biopsy procedures. The role will include active participation in the head and neck MDT and Thyroid MDT and regular benign ENT/OMFS meetings, working closely with clinicians in the relevant specialties and providing consultations and imaging reviews as part of your job plan. As part of a successful Wessex radiology training programme and South East Imaging Academy, active participation in teaching and training is an integral part of the role. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a consultant head and neck radiologist, with adequate subspecialty level, ideally at tertiary level, to continue to grow our enthusiastic team. Beyond the expected clinical attributes, the applicant should demonstrate organisational, communication and professional skills to a level to effectively undertake the consultant role.
