(JD ref: JM941) Person Specification Qualifications Essential Certified diploma level qualification (level 4) in emergency planning and/or business continuity or working towards such a qualification Experience in Emergency Planning and Business Continuity or areas that are relevant for business continuity management acquired through training and experience to Masters level equivalent Desirable Teaching qualification (e.g. level 3 PETTL) Experience Essential Experience of emergency planning and business continuity, in NHS or similar complex organisations Experience and knowledge of working in partnership with people in a range of organisations Experience of responding to incidents and advising organisational staff on emergency response Desirable Completion of NHS Principles of Health Command training Qualified decision loggist Skills Essential Highly developed communication skills - written and verbal Organisational skills and ability to work autonomously Interpersonal skills - developing and maintaining effective working relationships Prioritise work effectively and deal with non-routine tasks under pressure Knowledge Essential Knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and the NHS EPRR Framework Able to use informatics systems and tools (e.g. Microsoft packages)
