Summary

We require Complex Care Support Workers to join a small, dedicated team, providing 24-hour support to our 24-year-old male client who is based in a village close to the King’s Lynn area.

Our client has Cerebral Palsy, complex needs, and communication difficulties. He has severe epilepsy and requires 2-1 day care and 1 waking night and sleep in worker. He attends college 4 days a week. He loves music and days out.

Our client is a very sociable young man who experienced an acquired brain injury at the time of his birth. He has complex learning, health and physical disabilities.
We are looking for fun, reliable and skilled support workers who have a positive mindset and a good sense of humour to support him with his needs. We will consider applicants who are new to care.
Due to his complex needs to work night shifts you will need to complete training and induction on day shifts. We can be flexible with times.
All applicants will need to complete manadatory, specialised training and an induction.
Shifts Available:

Day shifts: Alternate weekend Saturday/Sunday 12 hour shifts.

Nights: We are seeking a support worker to cover two waking nights a week on a rota basis.

Bank Support Workers: Required to cover sickness and annual leave for days or nights.

Rates of pay:

Weekday daytime hours (Monday to Friday): £15.00 per hour
Weekend daytime hours (Saturday-Sunday): £16.00 per hour
Weekday night (Monday to Friday): £16.00 per hour
Weekend Night (Saturday-Sunday): £17.00 per hour

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
