We have a vacancy for a Teacher of Business Studies (fixed term) at Bertha Park High School.

As the successful candidate, you must demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage with young people and show that they fully understand the values and principles of a Curriculum for Excellence and the Senior Phase.

The post holder will be a creative and resourceful individual with the ability to challenge traditional teaching practices as we seek to develop the department in a technology-rich environment. Ideally experienced in a variety of digital learning resources, you will be able to enhance the learning experience of pupils through the development of engaging activities which enthuse those in your classroom, developing scientifically literate pupils who will confidently take the subject into the Senior Phase.

The Individual

We are looking for a motivated and creative Teacher of Business Studies.

We require a teacher who values consistency and mutually respectful relationships with staff, pupils, parents and the local community.

The successful candidate will be an effective and engaging classroom practitioner, have experience in developing a curriculum, have a proven track record in contributing to the whole school, and be able to assess, record and report on the progress of pupils.
