Summary

SRG are seeking a highly motivated Senior Formulation Scientist to join an growing team. In this key role, you will play a pivotal role in the development of new and existing drug products, ensuring they are safe and effective for patients.
What you will do:
- Develop formulations and processes for various dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, liquids, and semi-solids.
- Operate laboratory and pilot-scale equipment to conduct experiments and gather data.
- Design experimental plans, analyse data, and write comprehensive development reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to find solutions to problems related to ongoing and new projects.
- Assist in introducing new equipment and participate in equipment qualification activities.
- Contribute to quality risk assessments and process validation efforts.
- Ensure GMP compliance in all development and manufacturing activities.
- Transfer formulation knowledge from development to GMP operations for smooth production.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure safe and effective manufacturing practices.
- Maintain clear communication with other departments to keep everyone informed.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver on client projects.
You are a perfect fit if you have:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a science or related technical field.
- Experience in formulation development of solid oral dosage forms, with knowledge of processes like wet granulation, encapsulation, and tabletting.
- Experience in optimising manufacturing processes for scale-up from lab to production.
- Experience with GMP documentation and working in the pharmaceutical industry (a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Excellent project management, organisation, and planning skills.
