Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a creative flare and would like to work for a fantastic company. It’s a great time to move to Southdown as an Activity Coordinator.

We’re recruiting for a service for adults with learning disabilities in Chichester. The clients have busy lives and enjoy a wide range of social and leisure activities i.e. swimming, walking, bowling, gardening, cooking, eating out, going to the theatre, arts and crafts, music.

The service has communal spaces where you will be able to support the clients with all sorts of imaginative creations and to contribute as part of the team with the planning and delivery of an exciting and varied schedule of activities that appeals to our clients and meets their needs. You will provide a varied plan of events and activities throughout the year for clients to be a part of.

The clients enjoy being supported by kind and caring staff who can encourage them to overcome challenges, work toward their goals and encourage them to make their own decisions. You don’t need to have any experience or qualifications to join us; we’ll invest in you and provide all the training you need to develop excellent support and facilitation skills.
