Summary
Step Teachers are working with a brilliant day nursery in Tottenham to find an Early Years Practitioner to join their team full-time starting in May 2024. This is a nursery that prides itself on creating a stimulating, safe and fulfilling atmosphere for young children both indoors and out. A successful Early Years Practitioner should be ready to get involved and contribute towards this environment while helping to create fun and positive memories for children.
Early Years Practitioner - Role:- Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
- Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and used appropriately.
- Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.
- Fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Recent experience as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred.
