The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.

We are looking for a Land Base Service Engineering Lecturer with the ability to deliver to our Land Based full time students and apprentices. You may currently be working in a Land Based Engineering setting or of had experience of the sector previously, you could be looking for a change in employment! Have you considered a teaching career? Working as part of the Automotive and Engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery and the assessment of knowledge, skills and behaviours of our students, whilst using your recent industry knowledge and expertise to develop the course further. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Land based Engineering sector and the industry it falls within, whilst be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques.

As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
