Summary

What you’ll do:
  • Prepare and submit various tax returns for both the UK and ROI, including corporate, VAT, and Intrastat.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax disclosure notes for statutory accounts across all UK and ROI legal entities.
  • Maintain the tax returns and payments calendar to ensure timely compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve tax processes.
  • Participate in SAP user acceptance testing and support ongoing tax software projects.
  • Work closely with senior management to update compliance documentation and handle ad-hoc tax queries.
  • Stay updated with tax legislation changes and support the team in assessing impacts on Sodexo's operations.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, achieving at least a 2:1.
  • Professional qualification in Accountancy (AAT/ACA/ACCA) preferred, though not essential.
  • CiOT qualification is preferred, though not essential.
  • Experience from a Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm is highly advantageous.
  • At least 3-5 years of direct experience with tax compliance and corporate tax return preparation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and ideally OneSource tax software.
