Summary
Teaching Assistant (TA) required in Wakefield!
Maze Recruitment Group (MRG) are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA). We are working with a mainstream Primary School in Wakefiled who are looking to recruit multiple experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within EYFS, KS1, & KS2, supporting both the full classes and small groups at different points of the week.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) you will support both the class teachers in full class/small group work and one to one support.
The Role:
- Be able to adapt to the needs of the child in lessons and assist them in their school day.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage the children to stay on task.
- Clarifying and explaining any questions or instructions given to the pupil.
- Support the class teacher with any additional duties.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification - CACHE, NCFE, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Recent experience in a school in the UK and working with people with learning difficulties is essential.
- Experience in a SEN education setting is ideal.
- Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build a strong, professional rapport with children and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to carry one out.
Working with MRG
- We have been working with schools in West and South Yorkshire for 20 years. We work directly with a lot of headteachers and trusts due to our long-standing relationships.
- We pay all our staff in line with AWR so your pay will be equal to that of a permanent employee from day one.
