Templer Homebuild are growing. As a result, we are excited to introduce a new role to the Customer Experience Scheduling team. We seek an enthusiastic and organised Planner/Scheduler with Team Leader experience, to join our dynamic, hardworking, and resilient team based in Newton Abbot.

The Repairs Team Leader role:

Leading a small, close-knit (team of 3) Planners/Schedulers, you will ensure emergency and routine residential repairs and compliance calls are answered effectively and efficiently.

You will be working as a Planner/Scheduler collaboratively with your colleagues, alongside your Team Leader responsibilities. Specifically, this will involve:


Collaborating and supporting the Customer Experience Manager to develop and maintain a high performing team, supporting the overall contract delivery.
Coaching, providing supervision and focus for the Response and Compliance Planner/Schedulers
Collaborating with the operational teams to provide support on service delivery across multiple workstreams (compliance, & repairs) to successfully achieve business KPIs.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, always
Producing and managing compliance data and monthly KPI reports
Maintaining personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role. You will participate in appropriate training activities, always encouraging, and supporting staff development and training.


What will you bring as a Repairs Team Leader?


Demonstrable experience of managing people within a relative environment e.g., scheduling/call/contact centre, where customer service is at the heart of what you do. This will ideally come from within a Response/ Repairs/ Maintenance environment.
The ability to drive the performance of a team with an unwavering commitment to retaining a positive, ‘lead by example’ approach. You will not be afraid to get involved in the day to day and roll your sleeves up, to help and direct your team.
Well-developed and impeccable communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to be clear and consistent in your delivery when consulting with your team, your seniors, and our clients/residents.
