Summary

Our HR team are looking to add additional expertise to our internal team and wish to appoint a detail-focused Payroll administrator to lead our payroll administration activities. You will be a specialist and dedicated payroll resource and act the main point of contact for our external payroll provider (ADP) and internal finance team.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Ensure all monthly payroll changes are input / processed in line with internal and external deadlines.
  • Act as lead contact and facilitator with our external payroll provider (ADP)
  • Collate and input data relating to monthly employee changes such as Sickness , Maternity/Paternity, Overtime and deductions to salary .
  • Maintain employee bank details across our HR and Payroll systems
  • Respond to all payroll related employee queries in a timely manner and resolve wherever possible.
  • Enrol all new starters and remove leavers from pension scheme and manage contributions administration
  • Processing of tax code changes and any relevant notifications to or from HMRC
  • Ensuring employees have the correct access to access their payslips
  • Supporting with the implementation of salary sacrifice schemes, and any schemes or policies that impact on payroll
  • Ensuring all sickness and maternity schemes as assigned to employees appropriately

Qualifications/Experience

  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator.
  • Work experience of supporting an outsourced payroll service provider such as ADP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Already part or fully qualified in payroll administration with expectation to continue your professional development to achieve full qualification in payroll administration.
  • This is a Hybrid role so you must be able to work in our York Office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
