Summary

Group Recovery Coordinator - Full Time, Ongoing Contract
Located in Lewisham

Are you passionate about making a difference? This is an exciting role based at Primary Care Recovery Service (PCRS) Lewisham it's is one of two treatment providers within the borough of Lewisham. PCRS is based in Forest Hill.

Humankind are an established provider of substance misuse, health, young people and families, employment training and education and housing services. This is an exciting time to be joining Humankind, growing in reputation and delivering key services across the country.

The successful applicant will join a team of experienced Recovery Coordinator and Aftercare group work facilitators and will be required to support adults with range of substance misuses issues including alcohol, providing support through a range of group work interventions, encouraging peer support and various activities to support people moving forward into recovery.

You will be an integral member of a dynamic multi agency team, using your abilities and skills to:
• Develop and deliver a range of group work interventions and activities
• Communicate effectively with a range of people
• Support service users to make decisions regarding their treatment & recovery
• Support service users to access resources and services to increase their recovery capital to help them achieve their recovery goal.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, some out of hours work may be required.
