An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team as a Security Officer. This role is pivotal in maintaining college’s happy and purposeful atmosphere by taking a lead in the security, safety and welfare of staff and students on our college campus.
The ideal candidate would possess skills and qualities such as self-initiative, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised, ability to remain calm and to de-escalate situations, with a firm yet fair approach to liaising with students whilst upholding the core values of the College. You will be able to work in isolation and as part of a team, you will operate across programme and work within our Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team. As Security & Safety Officer, you will be highly visible around college and should seek to always prioritise the safeguarding of all students. Experience of working within the security and safety sector is essential. When students are not in college, you will work alongside the Estates team, contributing to the maintenance of our beautiful campus.
