Summary
About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Chef who will work alongside our Chef Manager to ensure the provision of a high standard of food quality, preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy, and safe environment
You will be working Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 19:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 37.5 hours per week.
- To assist with the development of menus/food offered on-site as well as support the team over busy Breakfast, Lunch & evening services.
- To supervise a small team of staff and be responsible for meeting budgets and managing cash.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification - e.g. Food Hygiene Certificate
- Diploma in Professional Cookery minimum Level 2 - e.g. C&G 706/2
- Experience of contract catering
- Flair and imagination as a chef
- A good understanding of cost control
- Good team-working skills with a flexible approach to work, and strong leadership skills
