Senior Radiographer (Bank) Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Radiology | Bank | Part Time Up to £21.00 per hour depending on experience Our radiology team in our Tunbridge Wells Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Bank Radiographer. This Nuffield Hospital is located in the centre of Tunbridge Wells, the hospital comprises a 34 bed inpatient ward, Oncology unit, theatre and outpatients as well as the imaging department with a number of modalities including MRI and a brand new state of the art CT. As a Senior Radiographer, you will: Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload - within the department, on the ward and in theatre. Work with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities. Supervise and developing more junior staff members. Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion. Assist with general departmental tasks such as QA and IEP. As a Senior Radiographer, you will have: High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail. A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization is desirable but not essential. Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable.
