Summary

You should possess experience of working with children and young people with a range of needs, (including mild to profound Learning Disability), and experience of working with different agencies, services and professionals. You will need excellent communication skills to ensure strong links are developed with Children's Home staff and managers; with carers involved with the CYP; and with other services providing input and support to these CYP. The Lincolnshire CYP Complex Needs Service currently includes clinical psychology, forensic psychology; Specialist Therapists Harmful Behaviours; Speech and Language therapy; and Leaving Care practitioners. The Service has an established consultation and training role within Lincolnshire County Councils (LCC) Future4Me Service and LCCs Children's Services. Our service operates countywide, so the ability to travel independently across the county is essential. We have an office base in Sleaford, but the ability to work from home will also be helpful. We actively promote a supportive team culture and encourage colleagues with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and regular clinical and management supervision. For informal queries please contact Rachel Smith, Team Coordinator, at rachel.smith82@nhs.net or rachelx.smith@lincolnshire.gov.uk
