This role would be suited for someone who is starting out their career in Retail and Catering. The main purpose of the job is to ensure that the day to day process for all event and race-day retail operations is efficiently and effectively carried out. Working in a unique venue, you will be involved in the preparation and management of the sites retail areas. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and have the opportunity to learn on the job and increase your knowledge.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Assisting with the ordering and management of stock
Ensure liaison with all relevant departments is delivered, to ensure high quality of service and customer satisfaction
Checking deliveries and ensuring stock is appropriately stored (This includes movement of large cage deliveries)
All aspects of cellar work including line cleaning (This includes movement of 73kg kegs around site)
Checking deliveries and ensuring stock is appropriately stored
All aspects of cellar work including line cleaning
Ensuring the site is kept clean and tidy at all times
Rotating stock to minimise wastage
Setting up for racing including table setting, fridge stocking and retail area stocking
Any other reasonable catering duties as requested by the catering general manager or members of the management team
