We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and organised team player to join us as a Clinical Lead at Avebury Lodge. Avebury Lodge delivers compassionate residential, dementia and respite care in a high quality and lively environment.

Acting as the Deputy to the Home Manager and operating as Nurse in Charge you will be looking to manage, lead, train and guide the nursing team during shift to ensure company and regulatory standards are met at all times.

Day to day tasks will include managing a team of professional nurses and senior careers, organising shifts and rotas, organising on-call cover, liaising with outside professional and relative’s families, keeping care plans and medical supplies updated as well as assisting the home manager with the general day to day running of the home

Ensure at all times the highest standards of care are delivered to the service users whilst working within the defined company policies and procedures. Ensure all nursing practices are evidence based and reflect current trends. Work with the Unit manager, Home manager and other trained nurses in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating quality nursing care. Supervising and training nurses and care assistants, ensuring the full and professional delivery of care to the clients.

About You

To join us as a Clinical Lead, you'll need be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. We'll also look for some HR experience and an understanding of budget management. Finally, you'll be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
